Origin of a Storied Logo – Splatter Matter

A vintage four-door utility vehicle with a large snow plow attached to the front is parked outside a brick building. The plow blade features a painted black sunburst design.

Shortly after the Camden Winterfest Parade, Dagney Ernest, a local editor at the Camden Herald, expressed interest in writing a story about the origin of the FISHER splat logo. Horace is one of our longest tenured employees, so we felt it was only appropriate for him meet with her and provide some insight. He graciously accepted the responsibility. Now, thanks to him, Dagney’s article “Splatter Matters: Origin Of A Storied Logo” was published through the Courier Gazette, Camden Herald and Republican Journal.
