FISHER SECURITY GUARD Deters Snow Plow Theft & Unauthorized Use

FISHER® Engineering, a leading manufacturer of snow plows and snow and ice removal equipment, today announced the launch of its exclusive SECURITY GUARD Anti-theft System.

“SECURITY GUARD helps FISHER owners deter theft or unauthorized snowplow use,” said Andy McArdle, product marketing manager for FISHER Engineering. “With the recent economic situation, we’ve seen an increase in reported snowplow thefts.  Our SECURITY GUARD system addresses that issue, providing a valuable, easy-to-use tool that can be used at the owner’s discretion.”

Unlike physical locks that can be cut or removed, FISHER’s SECURITY GUARD provides a safe, secure way to electronically “lock” the snowplow by providing electronic synchronization of the snowplow control and electrical system. When the system is activated, electrical controls are disabled, rendering the snowplow inoperable to unauthorized users.

The SECURITY GUARD Anti-theft System is currently available on select FISHER snowplow models.
