The FISHER Minute Mount® 2 system has been engineered for superior safety, durability, and convenience. The mechanical nature of its design means that there are no sensitive electronics that could fail and prevent you from attaching or removing your plow.
The vehicle mounts and lower gear are built tough and flare both vertically and horizontally to help guide the plow and align it in place to make the drive-in connection easier during attachment. Simply raise the pin, release handle, and push on the headgear to pop the pins into place. Then, raise the jack, snap it into place, and plug in the electrical connectors.
Each vehicle mount kit has been engineered for an exact fit and is certified to meet all applicable Federal and Canadian Motor Vehicle Safety Standards.
You can identify your mount construction by looking at the pin mechanism and headlights: the original Minute Mount® uses angle iron and C-channel, individual manual pull-pins, and single-stud sealed-beam headlights. The Minute Mount® 2 features bent formed tubing, a single-lever dual-pin release, and lighting options ranging from early two-stud systems and INTENSIFIRE™ single-halogen headlights to current state INTENSIFIRE™ dual-halogen or LED headlights.
Hooking up to a FISHER® Minute Mount® 2 takes just one or two minutes. Simply drive your truck forward until the mount fully engages the headgear, swing the disconnect up and lock the spring-loaded pins into place by pushing on the headgear (ensuring you have proper chain slack, so it moves freely), raise the jack leg, and plug in the electrical connections.
